… speaking in tongues…

… a holy language, or just being difficult? At least this was a question keeping me occupied while trying to figure out what my dog, freshly out from surgery, tried to tell me every hour throughout the night. I went through my “whole life’s experience with dogs book” between 10 pm last night until 3 am this morning. Finally, after I had served him his second(!) dinner of the night, he fell asleep for a while. The peace didn’t last long and due to the huge cone around his head, avoiding him to lick the wound, he bashed into most things getting in and out of his bed, pushing himself through the doorway, shoving it into my face when trying to attract my attention. This resulted into that I look rather like someone has ran me over with truck this morning , while my dear dog has finally found peace and snores away under the table. I just say - love is unconditional, full stop.
We are at least blessed with great weather, and the construction work in and around the house is taking shape. The tiled stove is gone, the new firesafe door is in place, the shed has been emptied and the de-cluttering activities are ongoing. We still haven’t decided about the floor, but I am positive that this is just a small hiccup in the plan. I think I might need to visit the Hardware store again this week to verify my creativity with reality. The guys down at the shop are always happy-to-help and they make sure to put things into perspective, as far as the possibility to realize a plan goes. I am still guessing, they draw lots of who will be the target of my ideas as I walk through the doors to the store…

Anyway - need some strong coffee, a lot of coughing medicine, my handyman gloves and then the day can begin.
So long - a good day to start over
