…wroom, wroom - comes from the main street leading from Velden to Klagenfurt on the north side of the lake, so it’s not me turning into a lunatic, making funny noises and a right fool out of myself. The European bike week awaits approx 70.000 for the events this week and weekend. The main biking centre is at Faakersee, which is 15 minutes drive from here, but we see the majority of the bikers from our windows facing the lake… we can’t avoid hearing them either by the way. But it is an impressive sound I must admit…

You notice that the autumn is marching towards us with big steps. When the sun is not out it turns rather chilly, but during the day it reaches 20-25°C.  Water-skiiers are still active and so are the sailor, yeah why shouldn’t they be? Water-skiiers can use suits and sailing can be done all year round.. it’s not the weather but the clothes that make the difference..isn’t that what our wise mothers preach since we were young?

Anyway, a beautiful day again, dog had his swim, sun has been out and our guests have been happy and content with their holiday.
