… needs to be taken care of, which resulted in that all Di Elfe members and friends drove up to Bad Kleinkirchheim (approx 50 minutes from here) to spend some hours at the Thermal Römerbad.  Massage, pedi- and manicure and a hair-cut was the programme of today, which was highly enjoyed by all the participants (and their bodies).

Bad Kleinkirchheim is located above 1000 metres and has a population of 1.800. It is known as a popular ski-resort and the Alpine Skiing World Cup is held here often, but also to the hot spring and the spa´s. It lays beautifully between the mountains and the flower arrangements on the balconies can fascinate anyone with green fingers and us others less blessed.

A light lunch ( I must admit there was some heavy dessert involved, however this is not to be mentioned any further *)and some shopping rounded off the day. The BBQ has been started for the evening and a great dinner awaits us all. Don’t forget that good food is good for your soul as well… at least as long as the scale is kept safe.

* thick crumbled pancakes - Kaiserschmarrn with some jam tasted fantastic!!!

… would be the correct definition of last nights happenings. Yesterday in the late afternoon, too much rain, bad weather conditions and a slippery road turned the drive in to a horrifying roller-coaster ride close to Spittal.

The call from my friend turned my stomach in and out and I guess my heart stopped for a second. When I drove to pick him up and saw the car, I realized that the accident could have turned into a nightmare. He was safe and so the dog. They had  gotten out of that car, all unhurt. Thank God!

Lucky or protected… you can always argue this.  You never know when it can happen you. Will you be lucky, protected or will destiny play its role? Care for what you have today - you never know what will be tomorrow.

… my friend - you had some Guardian Angels watching over you last night - protected in the safe haven of Angels..
