…sun is up

Another day with blue sky and sun!

Guests have left to go to the lake, house is empty and shores are done.

woods in shadows

A morning walk with the dog behind the house in the woods was great. Early before anybody wakes up, the sun has just reached the treetops, it is so quiet. Sometimes I wonder if the birds around here sleep so tight they miss breakfast…

Looking out over the lake however - the water-skiers have been up a while, plowing some smooth waves on the lake surface.

Got to go - washing is ready

..another great day

After a pretty miserable day yesterday, the blue sky and the sun just laughed in our faces this morning. Even though it wasn’t as warm as the past week, the air was fresh and the sun as bright as ever.

Took a walk up the hill behind the house and my dear old dog trotted slowly behind me.

If you make it up the hill :-) , you can cross over a small field and will come through a small forest on your way down to Techelsberg “city”centre.

on top of the hill

I picked up some fresh buns from the shop and made my way back home.

We went to Bad Saag around mid-day for a swim, lunch and some sun. The water has this fantastic turquoise color and is crystal clear   - life is great you know..

…also enjoying a swim Lunch at Bad Saag

so long for now.

…will be a lot to tell

…will be a lot to tell

Hello World!

Welcome to the first (but not last) B&B Di Elfe blog!

Up until yesterday we had around 35°C, which is not the case today, however the flowers needed water and we needed a break from the sun. Should get better tomorrow and beginning of the week we should have the great weather back again.

What continues to fascinate me is that no matter how much rain is pouring down, the water skiers, still are in action. God bless Wörthersee - even love it when it’s raining.

Tomorrow is going to be another great day!
